Our central purpose is to provide our students with the necessary knowledge, understanding, skills, values and attitudes to ensure a sound foundation for life-long learning. Holy Saviour School has a strong focus on student well-being and quality teaching, we view these as the foundations that underpin effective student learning.

Literacy and Numeracy form the core of learning across the curriculum areas and we have exemplary levels of teacher/learner support to ensure the needs of all our students are addressed. Alongside the traditional curriculum areas, we also aim to develop students' values, creative thinking, independent learning and collaborative skills through broad learning experiences and a supportive, responsive learning environment.

Our teaching and learning approach is student-centred and based on individual needs. We use the 'Assessment for Learning' approach to guide the development of our teaching programs and we are committed to incorporating innovative pedagogies and 21st century learning principles.
